We are all looking forward to a great day of activities at our Wellbeing Day on Friday 31 August and (hopefully) good weather, with activities to cater to all.

Taking place from 10am – 5pm at Millfields Park and Nye Bevan Community Hall, E5, VCH’s Step Up will be running loads of activities to help you feel your best. The GreenGym will be hosting a conservation session, involving fruit picking and a chance to learn more about one of Hackney’s many beautiful green spaces. For those who enjoy a gentle stroll with the added bonus of tasty snacks, a foraging walk around the park, finishing at Beecholme Community Garden where those who sign up will be able to tuck in to some lovely treats! Later on in the day, you can blend your own delicious tea, and take part in yoga sessions, suitable for all levels of fitness and a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Plus play dough making and art and craft activities and more – watch this space!

Whilst all of this is going on, we invite you all to come down and find out more about volunteering and meet other local residents, as we will be based in the park and looking forward to seeing as many of you as we can.

Activities are suitable for a range of ages and the event is entirely free, including food and refreshments. You do not have to be registered on Step Up to take part – but you will need to tell us that you’re coming along. Email us at [email protected] or call 020 7241 4443 to book your space.
