Volunteers’ Week 2019 – Discover Volunteering
Volunteering is… ‘Spending time doing what I love, learning and meeting new people.’
Volunteers across the country will be thanked for their contributions during Volunteers Week 2019 which runs from 1 to 7 June – and volunteers in Hackney will be too! Volunteers are the backbone of countless charities and other organisations. They are a valuable presence in many communities, making a difference in places as diverse as sports clubs, libraries, schools and hospitals. VCH has lots going on over Volunteers Week – come along and get involved! All these events take place at Volunteer Centre Hackney, 5 Tyssen St E8 2LY.
