Made in Hackney is the UK’s first fully vegan community cookery school and charity. It works as a door-to-door delivery service of plant-based meals to households struggling to access food.
And here’s where you come in – they’re looking for volunteers.
Here’s the difference you could make:
- Help communities access local and sustainable food
- Improve the health and wellbeing of urban communities who may be struggling to access food
- Support environmentally sustainable food-based entrepreneurship
Role info:
- Assist the cookery teacher/ chef deliver classes for local communities + the public
- Timings are flexible
- Help the Project Directors run the award-winning community kitchen and cookery school.
- Thursdays weekly from 10 am – 5 pm
- Help with community meal service.
- Tuesday or Thursday 10 am – 3pm
Meal Delivery Cycle Courier:
Deliver meals by bike with another volunteer (all you need is a bike!)
4 pm – 6:30 pm on either Tuesday or Thursday.
