Volunteer Fair a success

A big thank you to everyone who came along to last Wednesday’s Volunteer Fair.

Despite the snowy weather, we had a fantastic turnout. Over 50 local people from all ages and backgrounds expressed their interest in giving back to their community and offering various skills and experiences. Sarfuddin, a student currently on work experience at VCH said that the fair ‘was engaging and inspiring. The atmosphere was positive- people were happy and got what they wanted from it’.

Charities from all across London showcased the inspiring impact they have, from offering support systems for Hackney’s young people or organising sporting activities for those with complex disabilities.

Serena at Read Easy reported that the fair was ‘very successful judging by overwhelming interest from individuals looking to join us’
