We’re looking for volunteers to join our Emergency Volunteer Team, helping to respond in the event of a second lockdown, as well as Public Health Champions, aiding in reducing the transmission of the disease through communication.

Love being on the road? Drivers and cyclists needed for vital food deliveries. AMURT are looking for cyclists and the Shoreditch Trust are in need of drivers to help deliver vital meals to those in need.

If you’re looking for something to do, but worried about how much time you can commit, check out our flexible volunteering roles below.

Newington Green Meeting House are looking for a volunteer to help prepare for their re-opening and support their community events, whilst BlindAid, East London Cares and VCH itself are in need of telephone befrienders to keep in touch with residents during the pandemic.

Finally, if baking is more your thing, Free Cakes For Kids Hackney are looking for volunteers to help bake birthday cakes for children that would otherwise go without.
