Christmas hasn’t even arrived yet, but here at VCH we have been busy planning our Volunteer Fair for the New Year – and we are very pleased to confirm VCH’s first Volunteer Fair of 2019 taking place on Wednesday 30 January at Dalston CLR James Library from 12-2pm.
A new year is always a time to think about making positive changes – and volunteering is a great way to start. Meet inspiring local charities looking for friendly Hackney residents to give their time to good causes and discover how you can get involved.
From baking bread to fixing bikes, there are hundreds of different roles on offer across the borough. Whether you can give an hour a week or an hour a month, VCH can help you find your ideal role. Taking place from 12pm, you can pop in on your lunch break or on your way to pick up the kids.
This is a free event, open to all, so children are welcome, plus refreshments – put the date in your diary, then pop by and meet us!
