Volunteer Centre Hackney is seeing in the new year with an explosion of new workshops and events! Whether you want to help a local charity, are thinking about changing careers or want to look after your wellbeing in 2019, VCH has got something on offer for you.

Come along to Dalston CLR James Library on Wed 30 Jan 2019, 12 – 2pm for our New Year, New You Volunteer Fair. From cooking to gardening and conservation, social media and admin, come along and meet local charities seeking volunteers like you – there’s a role for everyone. Considering getting a job, going back into work or maybe a career change? Would you like some support to get you ready? These free employment workshops have been designed with a focus on developing what YOU want and enabling you to find a job that you enjoy. Have you experienced anxiety or depression, and want to explore ways to support your wellbeing? Starting on Mon 7 Jan 2019, Step Up are running a free 12 week programme designed to help you build your knowledge and confidence in how to take care of yourself and manage your health and wellbeing better.
