On 17th November, we saw the return of our first in-person volunteer fair since 2019.

More than 80 attendees mixed with organisations from across the borough during the afternoon session at the Dalston CLR James Library. Organisations in attendance included: African Development and Advocacy Centre (AFRIDAC), AMURT UK, East Age London UK, Hackney Council, HIP Hackney, Home for Good – The Passage, Keen London, Plastic Free Hackney, SENSE, St. Joseph’s Hospice Hackney, The Literacy Pirates, and Woodberry Down Library, along with members of our team.

These organsations shared almost 40 new roles for which they’re seeking volunteers.

Not to worry if you missed the event. With roles ranging from food preparation to data analysis to massage therapy, there are opportunities across a wide range of expertises, times and locations available across the borough.
