Get Started in Social Action – Free Workshop as part of Volunteers’ Week 2019
Is there something in your community you want to improve but don’t feel you have the tools or the confidence to do so? Come and explore what can be achieved through social action in this engaging and interactive workshop.
Social action is about people coming together to help improve their lives and solve the problems that are important in their communities. From volunteering and community-owned services to community organising or simple neighbourly acts, we’ll the explore issues affecting you and your community, and practical ways we can all implement change to help our communities thrive. Free refreshments and resources provided.
