The ReachOut Summer Programme runs daily in Hackney from Monday 15th August – Friday 26th August. It aims to raise educational attainment amongst young people and to help their transition from primary to secondary schooling, all whilst having a great time!
Circle Collective was created to help unemployed young people develop the workplace skills they need to secure permanent employment. Circle Collective have an opportunity for a volunteer to lead the recruitment of new learners for training and work experience in their Hackney store.
Volunteers will work across the London HUB covering two of their sites 4 Tyssen Street, Hackney, and 4 Garrett Street, Islington. You will be involved with general admin, using Shelter’s Case management system to updating the database.
More than one million people a year visit Shelter for advice and support via their website and help lines. Shelter help people find and keep a home and tackle the root causes of bad housing by campaigning for new laws, policies and practice.
Hackney Community Transport aim is to allow the most marginalised and isolated people in society to access healthcare, education and employment by providing free transportation. Two roles: GT Pilot Volunteer and Administrator.

Tyssen Children’s Centre provides a range of activities and training courses for parents and their children. They target parents in the most deprived areas and vulnerable, low-income households. One of the services they provide is a playscheme for local residents during the summer holidays.
