HOMESHARE DAYCARE SCHEME
VOLUNTEER CARER

Are you compassionate & looking to gain experience in the care industry? Homeshare Daycare  need friendly volunteers to open up their homes (daytime) to a vulnerable adult and help provide respite for their carers. Come to our free info session on Thursday 31 May, 10am – 1pm at the Marie Lloyd Day Centre. Full training provided.

HACKNEY HELPER

Could you be a Hackney Helper? VCH are looking for neighbourly people to befriend local residents who might need support. This role is ideal for a friendly and approachable individual who is interested in the voluntary sector. Does this sound like you? Come along to our free training at the end of March.

OURMALA
FEMALE ENGLISH (ESOL) TEACHER VOLUNTEER

Ourmala helps female refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives in London. The charity are looking for enthusiastic and friendly teaching volunteers with previous teaching experience to support its English educational programme. Volunteers must be willing to commit for a minimum of six months.

  • If you’re feeling isolated or out on a limb..volunteering is the best way to plug yourself in and recharge. It helped me learn new skills, and sharpen existing ones. I’d highly recommend it
