If you want a rewarding way to end your summer and make a huge impact on somebody’s life, there’s still time to volunteer with Kith & Kids at their Autism Summer Camp or Autism Summer Project helping their members to have a summer they won’t forget! You’ll support children and young adults with learning disabilities to take part in lots of exciting activities such as campfires, treasure trails, night time activities, swimming, day trips to the seaside and much more.

For people with limited time to spare, why not give a few hours to St Joseph Hospice? Their new family fun day Big Summer Jumble Fest is taking place on Saturday 14th July, 10am – 2pm. With food stalls, books, DVDs and more for sale, sports day games, tombola, tea tent and BBQ, the team are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run stalls and games and give people directions.

For people that want to gain experience of working with children and families, Hestia need energetic, passionate volunteers to help make a difference to the lives of families who have been affected by domestic abuse. As a Playscheme Support Assistant you’ll facilitate families to help rebuild their lives through fun activities that help create positive happy memories.

Support one of Anna Fiorentini’s week-long summer school programmes for children aged 7 – 16. Summer Theatre School Assistant’s tasks range from assisting with costumes, learning lines in preparation for the end of week showing, and helping out with student registration at the start of the day. A great way to gain experience working with young people and industry professionals!
